The Perfect French-Press Coffee
The Perfect French-Press Coffee

Although modified for my personal burr grinder, you can follow these general rules yourself! If you get your beans ground at the store/shop you frequent, use the following guide as a starting point:
Use coarse ground coffee
1 scoop (or heaping tablespoon) of grounds for every 8 oz of water
Pour 210º F water over the grounds vigorously, let steep
After steeping 1 minute, stir grounds
Steep an additional 3 minutes
Press the grounds, pour, and enjoy!
You may increase or decrease this amount to adjust for your own personal taste.
