Did you know that Tillamook is now offering a smoked extra sharp cheddar?! It’s amazing and well worth the trip. We decided that since Emily’s halo-brace came off that we would go and do something this weekend and this certainly was a great choice. There weren’t too many people there and we got some great cheese and my new favorite ice cream - Sticky Bun. Yes, it tastes like a cinnabon - only in ice cream form.

Harley’s 1st Winter Snow...

He wasn’t so sure what to do when he first ventured on to the patio. It was fun watching him be very tentative with pawing the snow, but then he decided to taste it! Apparently it’s pretty good stuff because for the next few minutes he was cleaning off the whole patio. It’s fun to watch the snowfall... it’s certainly not last year, but it’s fun nonetheless...

And it’s only half the food - the other half was on the counter (not shown). Yes, that’s the food (mainly cookies) that I ate for three solid days! I maybe gained about 4 pounds this year - woohoo!!! For some of you I know that’s disgusting that I ONLY gained that much or that I’m even excited about gaining that weight. But for me... it’s a good thing.

Sometimes it’s just better to regress. Tonight we decorated sugar cookies. As you no doubt can tell, we’re (being myself, my sister-in-law’s husband, and wife’s cousin) definitely professional cookie decorators! We had way too much fun for what we accomplished. But hey, what are you going to do? Crush our holiday spirits?!?

Christmas Shopping

Only a few more days to go... and yes, I’m finishing up my last minute shopping in Port Angeles. It really doesn’t feel like Christmas still. Part of that stems from losing a month in the hospital. But I am starting to get excited for the food, the festivities, and the gift opening marathon coming up in just a few days!
